Jewelry
Each piece in our Jewelry collection is either sourced from salvaged and secondhand materials or made from surgical steel. To keep your pieces looking their best, follow the care notes below.
Materials Guide
Our jewellery is made from a variety of materials, including stainless steel, silver-tone metal, gold-tone metal, freshwater or faux pearl, and mixed salvaged metals. Because pieces are individually sourced, exact alloy composition may vary and is not always known. If you have a diagnosed metal allergy, please check the individual product listing for any material details noted there.
Cleaning & Care by Material
Silver-tone pieces: Wipe gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth after wearing. Polish lightly with a jewellery cloth to restore shine. Avoid submerging in water.
Gold-tone pieces: Wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid polishing creams, which can strip plating. Keep away from perfume, hairspray, and water.
Stainless steel pieces: Stainless steel is the most durable option in this collection. Clean with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, then dry thoroughly. It resists tarnish well but avoid prolonged saltwater or chemical exposure.
Pearl pieces: Pearls are delicate. Wipe with a very soft, dry cloth — never use ultrasonic cleaners, harsh chemicals, or submerge in water. Put them on last after applying perfume or hairspray.
Mixed salvaged-metal pieces: Treat gently — use a dry cloth only, as salvaged pieces may include multiple metals or finishes that react differently to moisture.
Storage & Tarnish Prevention
Store pieces individually in a cool, dry place — ideally in a soft pouch or a lined jewellery box. Keeping items separated prevents scratching and slows tarnish. Avoid storing in bathrooms where humidity is high. Anti-tarnish strips in your storage box are a great inexpensive addition.
What to Avoid
To extend the life of your jewellery, avoid contact with: perfume, hairspray, and lotions; chlorinated water (pools, hot tubs); saltwater; household cleaning products; and excessive moisture or sweat. Remove jewellery before exercising, swimming, or sleeping.
Sensitive Skin & Allergies
Some people with sensitive skin may react to certain metals. While stainless steel is generally considered low-irritant, we cannot confirm the exact alloy composition of all pieces in this collection, and we do not make hypoallergenic or nickel-free claims across the board. If you have a known metal sensitivity, please reach out before purchasing and we will share any material details available for a specific piece.
